ONE.shirt

ONE is o social enterprise that wants to talk about people and the environment they live in. 

The ONE project started with the clear desire to reduce the usage of textiles and to transform textile waste and pieces of clothing we want to keep into something new, a timeless item: the ONE shirt.

While putting an accent on creating flexible and adaptable jobs for the people coming from vulnerable social backgrounds and while creating unique stories by reusing and repurposing textiles, ONE represents the perfect premise for all of us to come together and start a new sustainable story for next generations.

The burden of unsustainable practices from the fashion industry is often times put on the shoulders of the consumer. ONEshirt is aiming at changing this by developing an ethical practice which is educating the people in the community to become better together.

The ONE.shirt production process is divided into smaller parts, a process which entails that all team members can contribute to its realization based on their abilities, while also ensuring a high quality end product.

The production of the ONE.shirt takes between 17 and 22 hours and the contribution of at least 5 people with a vulnerable social background. The community and its buyers can also contribute to the initiative by donating used textiles, by buying the ONE products and also by ordering custom made items made out of their beloved fabrics.
